Lynbrook Meet Results
Coaches were really proud of the way everyone swam in the first meet of the season, and the first meet EVER for many. Both Girl's teams and Varsity boy's were victorious! Meet results and scores are posted below and coaches will discuss more details at the team meeting.
Gunn Meet- 3/6
Friday we will swim at home against Gunn High School. Athletes who have a 7th period will be excused from their class at 2:20. All athletes will report to the pool at 2:30 to help set and begin warming up. All swimmers that cannot participate in the meet on MUST FILL OUT A MISSED PRACTICE FORM AND NOTIFY COACH PETERS (JV) or COACH BRUNO (VAR), no later than Tuesday, 3/3. If you notify us later than Tuesday that you can not participate then one of your teammates may not get to swim an event or relay that you have been seeded into. BE COURTEOUS TO YOUR TEAM AND COACHES. If you back out of the meet after Wednesday, 3/4 you will be asked to provide verification of your illness from a doctor. Additionally, it is expected that athletes will stay for the entire meet and not leave until the meet is over.
Swim Merch
Our parka vendor has created a swim store for Cats branded items such as backpacks, towels, parkas, hats, etc. The store will close on Sunday, March 8 and items will be shipped directly to homes around March 21st. Merch that is specific to this season will also be available for purchase later in the season, so stay tuned.

Orange-Black-Grey Fundraising Meet- Saturday, March 28th
We are excited to announce our 5th annual Orange-Black-Grey Fundraising Meet on Saturday, March 28th at noon. This is our only fundraising event for the season and proceeds support the banquet, pasta feeds, coaching costs not covered by the school, etc. We are also looking to raise funds for new lane lines that will be used exclusively by the swim team during the season. This year we will be partnering with Vertical Raise in hopes of doubling our fundraising efforts from last season. Vertical Raise is a safe and secure fundraising platform that has been approved by the school district. Information about the fundraiser can be found below, including opportunities for corporate/business sponsorships!
At our meeting next week we will create logins and begin emailing and texting potential supporters.
