Hello Swimming and Diving Families-

We are more than half way through the season.  So hard to believe!  There's a lot going on this week so read the update carefully and ask a coach if you have a question!

Team Meeting - 3/23
We will be having our team meeting on Monday at 3:45. All athletes are expected to attend the respective meeting!

Fundraiser Update
We have only one week left in our fundraiser and we are not even half-way to our goal. In addition to a monetary goal, we want 100% of the team to have at least one donation. Currently, only 58% of the team has brought in at least one donation. We are also aiming for a donation goal of $300 per athlete. So far the following athletes have met or exceeded that goal. We are very grateful for their fundraising efforts!

Mountain View Meet Results
We are still awaiting full results from the Mountain View meet. Results without splits can be found below. Both JV teams and Varsity Girls won, with a very narrow defeat for Varsity Boys (at least according to Coach Peters’ calculation)! Diving scores are not shown in the results, but all LG divers were unopposed!

In the Mountain View Meet, 16 Life Time PRs were done in individual events by the 12 swimmers attending focus practices last week!

Are you swimming as well as them??? If not, come to a focus practice.

Senior Meet vs @ Palo Alto High School - Friday, March 27th
We are excited to honor our graduating seniors this week at our last home meet. The ceremony will immediately follow the conclusion of the 400 Free Relay events and we expect all swimmers and divers to attend.

All swimmers that can not participate in the meet on Friday March 27 MUST FILL OUT THE MISSED PRACTICE FORM FOR FRIDAY MARCH 28, AND NOTIFY COACH BRUNO (VARSITY) AND COACH PETERS (JV) no later than Tuesday, 3/24/2026.

Orange-Black-Grey Alumni Meet- Saturday, March 28th
We are excited to run our 5th annual Orange-Black-Grey Fundraising Meet on Saturday, March 28th at noon (11 am warm-ups). 

Athletes will be broken into two teams, Orange and Black. All parents, alumni and coaches will make up the grey team. This is always a super fun meet and the weather looks to be amazing. If we can get every athlete with at least one donation on Vertical Raise we will have pizza following the meet!

This is our only fundraising event for the season and supports the banquet, pasta feeds, and more. Parents, this is your chance to compete against your athlete! The suggested entry fee for parents and alumni is $25 and can be paid through your athletes Vertical Raise page.

Spring Break Practice-Swimming
The expectation has always been that if you are healthy and in town, you are at practice. If you have not made plans already it is strongly advised that you do not make any. Taking a week off of practice with only a short period of time before league trials and finals will be detrimental to your overall success. Spring break practice for both JV and Varsity will be from 10-noon Monday-Saturday.

Banquet Date- Thursday, May 28th 6:00-9:00 pm
Mark your calendars for this event on Thursday, May 28th. We will have dinner on the front lawn then move to the theater for awards and a celebration of the season. This is an event not to be missed!.
