Hello Swimming and Diving Families-

Only one day left! The Girls team had a terrific trials day, with many PR’s and athletes advancing to finals. The information below is for Friday, April 24.

Diving
JV Divers are excused at 12:05 pm for a 12:20 pm departure. There will be no practice for Varsity divers that qualified for CCS. All divers are encouraged to make their way to Palo Alto High School after school to support their teammates.

Swimming
Boys and Girls Prelim results are linked below. The top 16 swimmers from prelims will race tomorrow in their individual events, with the 17th and 18th place finishers qualified as alternates should someone scratch or not show up for the “B” final. Relays will also swim tomorrow. Swimmers who did not qualify individually to swim tomorrow will likely swim B relays and should be prepared to race even though their name is not listed. 

Class dismissal time is 12:00 pm with the bus departing (see below) at 12:10 pm. Since students will be leaving BEFORE lunch begins, there will be no opportunity to purchase lunch. Please bring a healthy light lunch.

Transportation to Swim Meet
There was a mix up with the bus times for tomorrow and we are still waiting to hear back from the bus company as to their ability to pick us up at the 12:00 time. Best case scenario they can move the time and pick us up. Worst case scenario, we will need parents to drive athletes to the meet. With this much advance notice we cannot allow students to drive themselves!  It’s my hope that parents might take a quick lunch break to drive kids to Lynbrook. Parents, please fill out the form below if you are able to transport swimmers to tomorrow’s meet. I will reach out to you if you are needed.

Parent Drivers for 4/24

There will be a return bus to Los Gatos. The bus will leave 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Varsity Boys 400 Free Relay.
